Children are generally excluded from discussions about climate change, despite being among the most affected in the present, and know that their future is at stake. Climate change already impacts their lives, their safety, their health and the full enjoyment of their rights.

Projects:
1000 Children & 1000 Solutions
This project in development seeks to empower a generation of children leaders that will contribute to climate governance in Colombia by 2050, ensuring their participation as active agents for decarbonization and resilience in their communities.
Our solution is to implement a scalable model to educate children in schools through art, technology and disruptive strategies aimed at adopting sustainable behaviours and their becoming catalysts for change. We will implement a series of activities within educational institutions, creating adapted and innovative pedagogical content to bring climate change to the classroom.
Climate education
At Low Carbon City, education is at the heart of our strategy. We educate citizens to promote environmental and friendly life habits, and this education can begin at an early age. Through our forums, workshops and courses we want to ensure that knowledge about climate change arrives and is shared among all generations. Discover more on our education projects.
