Low Carbon City uses art as a mean for  raising awareness, engaging more people in the climate conversation and climate action. We have developed  different contest about storytelling, posters, arts performances, artivism challenges, public exhibitions among many more. In 2016 we launched the international photography award “Show the Change: Impacts and solutions of climate change” for amateur and professional photographers, aimed to create a visual radiography of the problems and opportunities of climate change in the urban context. Photographies of the contest have been used for exhibitions in different public venues in Colombia such as galleries, city halls, and embassies.
