Natalia Escobar Santander was born in Manizales and is an industrial engineer. She is the director of Manizales Cómo Vamos. Manizales Cómo Vamos assesses the quality of life in cities by using technical indicators, sensing and monitoring the results of public management, with the participation of experts, administrators, academics, citizens, social and community organizations, and other development actors. Natalia is convinced that with citizen participation and a little creativity, we can build more sustainable, inclusive, and livable cities.
