Angela Escallón is a recognized leader and manager of social issues and has almost thirty years of experience in the public, private, and international cooperation sectors. Escallón has a specialization in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad de los Andes. Throughout her career, she has worked for the Presidency of the Republic, the Mayor of Bogota and the Ministry of Education. She has been a consultant at the regional office of UNICEF for Latin America and has worked on project management for Africa and Asia from Italy, where she lived for seven years.
