Club Eco-Footprint is a group of community members and entrepreneurs who share information about data, products and services. Their aim is to improve the individual, communal, regional and and provincial environmental footprint. In the Eco-Footprint Club, they treat waste as a first, and most important, step towards improving their ecological footprint. They raise awareness and teach their community via workshops and community projects.
The environmental footprint workshops in Funes gave life to other Environmental Footprint Clubs in the region. Together they promoted the Organic Funes Fair. The fair includes products from local businesses as well as the possibility of exchanging waste. In 2018 the organic fair will be held in communities all over the province. The project promotes local products and “zero kilometer consumption” lifestyle.
