Soraya Azán is an architect from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and an urban transportation specialist. She completed her graduate studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. She has more than 20 years of experience in planning, construction, operation and management of networks and urban transportation systems. Currently, she holds the position of Executive Director of Mobility and Transport in CAF’s (banco de desarrollo de América Latina) vice-presidency infrastructure.
