Roberto Gossi, Director of Red Uruguaya de Ciudades, Justas, Democráticas y Sustentables The Uruguayan Network arises in order to articulate and coordinate the expansion and replication of the citizen movement, which began in Uruguay with the creation of “Montevideo Como Vamos” in April 2010 and is extended into the country with the formation of: Grupos en Punta del Este-Maldonado Como Vamos; Trinidad Como Vamos; Piriápolis Como Vamos; Melo Como Vamos; La Paloma Como Vamos.

The Latin American Network (La Red Latinoamericana de Ciudades, Justas, Democráticas, y Sustentables), brings together more than seventy cities and territories on the continent, from Mexico to Patagonia. This movement is aimed at creating citizen observatories through a similar methodology of assessing the quality of life in cities through a series of indicators that then allow comparison and the eventual transfer of good ractice in the most prominent and successful areas of urban management.
