Oscar Andres Mendez is an architect and the co-Founder of Conceptos Plasticos, which focuses on circular economy and closes the cycle by transforming recycled plastics in constructive systems for the building with a social impact on the part of a citizen collective and business that seeks to create awareness and to educate people about waste management. Conceptos Plasticos is the Colombian business winner of the global Venture 2016 (Chivas Regal, New York) prize and the 2016 winner of the Environmental Innovation Prize from Viva Schmidheiny (Guatemala).
