- B4future is a social enterprise whose mission is to promote initiatives of local climate action and sustainability through technical advice, citizen participation, policy formulation, technological development and project management.
- CLIMA Líderes is the Latin American Community of Leaders for Climate Action that through a virtual platform seeks to identify leaders and their adaptation and mitigation actions in the region. In addition, promoting spaces for dialogue for collective construction and participation, generation of knowledge and exchange of climate information.
Freddy has an outstanding experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of policies, plans and projects focused on climate change, renewable energy, technology, innovation and sustainable development. He developed research projects at the National Institute of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and later worked on the formulation of public policies when he served as National Director of Climate Change Mitigation at the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador. He is co-founder and president of the social enterprise and consulting firm b4future that seeks to promote initiatives to promote local climate action and sustainable development in Ecuador and the region. Among the initiatives he is currently developing are:
Citizen Vision: an open space for citizen participation and development of new governance schemes to achieve sustainable development and resilient communities.
MUEBE: actions from the private sector to promote sustainable mobility and alternative means of transport and low emissions for cities.
CLIMA Leaders: a regional community to identify professionals, activists and community leaders working to promote climate action in LAC through a digital platform that uses information technologies to generate knowledge, identify projects, exchange information and integrate work networks.
