Programme:

The speed at which new technologies and solutions emerge, as well as the magnitude and diversity of the challenges we face as a society make us reflect on the available opportunities that these technological changes could bring, and what their relationship and direct impact will be on our cities, environment and weather. This so-called fourth industrial revolution, marked by the convergence of digital, physical and biological technologies, will change our world and our way of existing within it. These changes can have serious social and environmental costs if they unfold in an unsustainable and out of control manner, but these technologies can also bring technological progress and well being, building a bridge to solve the great challenges of sustainability.
